You're traveling through Nebraska this week, and it seems like it will be a bumpy ride. On Monday, there will also be a chance to ford a river. The river is deep, and conditions are fair. On Wednesday, there will be a chance to stop at a ghost town. Monday River

[wagons]

[ This river wouldn't be bad to cross normally, actually, but the rains yesterday have made it a bit more full. What will you do, wagons? ]

Oh, yes!

[Kuranosuke hates his costume. He hates it. Stupid jellythings always needing to be in water - but this, he can handle.

Don't mind him, wagonmates, he's just going to rush to the water's edge. And then keep on rushing, until he's about knee-deep, before he sits down. Blessed, blessed relief...]

We don't have to cross right away, do we?

[ Oh, look, a cat trying to cross the river. Her costume makes it even more haphazard and she seems to be having a difficult time hopping on the rocks... ]

[Doof is going to be standing at the water's edge and glaring at it. He momentarily tries to dip his foot into the water, but ends up jerking it back when he realizes that his platypus costume really doesn't help with the water thing.

[Studying the river and it's conditions has become something of a habit for Korra, though she returns to wagon 2 to report her findings.]

It looks like we should float it over again. Amaterasu will have to check and see if the oxen will be all right in it, but it seems calm enough.

Wednesday Town

[ The town is definitely abandoned, but if you look around, you'll be able to find a fair amount of supplies, which is probably good, since some wagons are probably running low. Still, there's the sense that someone might be watching you... ]

[Zuko's on edge, glaring over his shoulder every so often, but he keeps on keeping, rooting for supplies]

Tuesday

[Despite the embarrassment of being in this costume, there's still plenty of pros--such as having a good enough height to pick food at.

And in this particular day, a good enough view to find a broken down wagon in the distance and long enough legs to take Akane there promptly. She picks it apart with considerable ease--]

Actual, real people clothes. [and apparently enough for everyone in wagon five.]

[whenever Akane gets the chance to come back to the wagon, Doof will be sulkily sitting on it, still in the platypus costume, making annoyed platypus sounds. ]
